Director of Asset Management Named for Nashville Division

September 29, 2016 – Highwoods Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce Diane Borgesen as the Director of Asset Management for the Nashville Division. She succeeds previous director Linda Martin, who retired in June. Ms. Borgesen will be responsible for the management and value growth of a 3.4 million-square-foot portfolio. She most recently served as Senior Property Manager for Cool Springs, which covers nearly 730,000 square feet. Since joining Highwoods in 1998, Ms. Borgesen has been involved with financial reporting; budgets and business plans; assignment coordination; property compliance; and capital improvement oversight.

“Over the years, I’ve built long-term relationships with a number of our Nashville customers,” said Ms. Borgesen. “I look forward to continuing those relationships by delivering the highest level of service in my new role.”

Ms. Borgesen is a graduate of State University of New York at Geneseo, an accredited LEED Green Associate, an active member and current officer of the Nashville chapter of BOMA and a past president of Women in Commercial Real Estate. She’s also a licensed Affiliate Broker in the State of Tennessee.
