Highwoods is proud to announce that for 14 years straight, an annual donation has been made towards the building of a specially adapted home for a severely injured veteran through the Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) organization. This year's donation will benefit Army SPC Joshua Craven in Asheboro, NC. In 2010, towards the end of SPC Craven's first deployment in Iraq, he was driving the lead vehicle in a convoy when an explosively formed penetrator (EFP) detonated the driver's side door. As a result, SPC Craven lost his left leg and sustained severe damage to his right leg with paralysis below the knee.
