For the last several years, Highwoods has welcomed students from the UNC Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDI) Program as interns in our corporate headquarters office in Raleigh. The goal of the REDI Program is to increase overall diverse applicant pool within the commercial real estate industry and to provide meaningful internship experiences with real-world work experience to students.

Through the leadership in Atlanta, Highwoods is also working with NAIOP Georgia to participate in its Diversity Internship Program. This program works with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and local universities to identify candidates for summer internships across a variety of
career disciplines in commercial real estate.
