Prior to joining Highwoods in 2008, Mike served as vice president of asset management for Crown American Realty Trust, the 2003 merging partner to Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust. Prior to Exco, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Progress Energy, Inc. from 2008 until its merger with Duke Energy Corporation (NYSE:DUK) in 2012.
